There are limitless possibilities of things to do and enjoy during your stay on the property.

For nature lovers
With running creeks, dams and woodlands, Yarrabah offers its own amazing nature walking opportunities. There are numerous bushwalking opportunities throughout the property, all with their own unique beauty. Please refer to the in-house information booklet to find the beautiful ‘Picnic Lake’. Explore the 350 acre property to find your favourite view. Our property borders State Forrest where many marked trails offer a diverse array of flora and fauna, as well as possums, bobtail lizards and birdlife.

For lovers of wildlife and animals
Spot the vast wildlife, plenty of kangaroos to see and over 80 species of birdlife to find. During your stay you may be lucky to spot the endangered Carnaby Red Tailed Cockatoo. Go possum spotting in the tall trees at night. With some luck you may even see a bandicoot! At Yarrabah we farm the beautiful and gentle Murray Grey cattle, their big brown eyes have been known to melt a few human hearts. Children will enjoy the opportunity to hand feed our two gentle pet cows and don’t forget a cuddle and feed for Shane, Bubbles and Squeak our pet sheep (otherwise they will be jealous!). Wander through the orchard and collect some fresh eggs for breakfast. Save your food scraps and feed it to the chickens.

For sporting types and those who love a little competition
Host your own Wimbledon, on our tennis court, floodlit for night use. Feel free to get competitive in the Barn, with darts, fuse ball and table tennis. Play some croquet, totem tennis, cricket and more, at sunset on the expansive lawns.

Food lovers
We have certainly not forgotten you. We farm Marron on the property, it is available fresh for purchase during your stay or to take home (can be frozen for three months). Enjoy the views whilst cooking some delicious Marron on your outdoor BBQ - what a treat! Please contact Property Managers for marron availability.

For creative souls
Don’t forget your camera, Yarrabah has some truly wonderful sunsets and sunrises, and some very special spots for wonderful family photos to savour the memories of your stay. Bring your oils and easel, there are some stunning views to capture on canvas.
